What I ate in a day at bootcamp

Can you believe I went to a proper Bootcamp? like military workouts and everything! If you haven't caught up with my Bootcamp vlogs then make sure you check them out here.

So for the 7 days I was out there we were eating a Paleo diet. The whole idea of Paleo is to eat only what we could've eaten as cave men and women. So all that processed stuff we love just wasn't allowed there. 

Breakfast:

A simple scrambled eggs, beans and veggies. We had a rather filling breakfast as we were going off on a 3 hour hike. We covered about 10 miles but half way through we got to have a snack. 



Snack:
Excuse the bad photography skills here, I was ready to tuck into my apple straight away. We also got some Brazil nuts and walnuts but I had already munched those up by the time I remembered to take a picture. 


Lunch:

We had lunch as soon as we got back from the hike. I had cauliflower rice with veggie curry. I'm not going to lie, when I first got my plate I thought I had REAL rice but nope, just a plate full of veggies which were actually really tasty. 


Snack:

For our second snack of the day I had my worst nightmare- A Coconut Cake. Basically just coconut flakes smooshed into a cake shape with dark chocolate drizzled on top. This was a dream for the other campers but for someone who's hated coconut for as long as she could remember it was not the best. 


Dinner: 

This was a mixture of mushrooms and beans in a lovely gravy like sauce. I really enjoyed this meal and it filled me up for the whole night.
