Mother's Day at The Dorchester

The Dorchester is one of the most amazing hotels in London. I've become a bit of an expert when it comes to hotels in London as me and my family always love taking weekend breaks in the city. The Dorchester has been on our list but seeing as a one night stay can cost as much as a months rent...we'll have to put it off for a little while!

That being said, we still wanted to experience a little of what the hotel had to offer so me and my sister had the idea of booking a Champagne Afternoon Tea for Mother's Day. I wasn't planning on making this into a post but we had the most lovely experience I had to tell you about it.

The staff were beyond lovely! They made us feel comfortable and just as important as Rod Stewart (No really, Rod Stewart was having afternoon tea just a few tables down from us) We sat in The Promenade which was just divine, the atmosphere was perfect with the pianist in the corner playing relaxing music including Frozen's "Let it Go"

The food was plentiful too. They first poured our champagne and then brought out the first selection of finger sandwiches which were delicious, they then offered us a second round but we declined as we knew there was still cakes and tea to come! They soon brought out a little pudding, cakes, scones, more pudding and tea! I loved it!

Honestly I could go on and on about how lovely this experience was but the most important thing was my Mother had a wonderful day which is more than I could've wished for. Now to figure out how we can treat her to a nights stay!

Stay Luscious
