Feeling Refreshed

It's been a little while since I last updated you guys! In my last post I was feeling lost. I'm feeling better than I have in a long time now. I just feel calmer and less anxious about everything. 

Since I last posted, I've been to Morocco which was absolutely amazing! It was just so relaxing. I actually worked out 3 of the 5 days I was there and I really enjoyed the workouts. They weren't about losing weight, toning up or gaining strength, it was just fun to get in there and use my body. Does that make sense? 

Since being back from Morocco I have been on a mission to try out new things. First of all I got invited by Nike to go to a tennis workshop day and we did a bunch of different drills. Not to mention I got to play with Serena Williams! I'm still pinching myself, it was so surreal. Though I had fun, I'm not sure tennis is the sport for me but I will definitely give it a go again and see if I can actually hit the ball more than once! 

I also went on a 5k morning run in Hyde Park with Tashi's new running club. Tashi is also a fitness blogger and a really good runner, her legs are to die for! Though I was absolutely dying through the run, of course we could go at our own pace but a mixture of wanting to challenge myself and not wanting to get lost, I tried to keep up with the leading group. Whilst it was extremely challenging, it's inspired me to push myself just as hard on my runs. 

My next challenge is sprinting! I love watching athletics, particularly the 100m and 200m so why not give it a go! I'm heading to a track in London with a friend of mine this week so I'll update you soon on how that goes.
