Week 1 | Becoming a Personal Trainer

As many of you already know, health and fitness is a real passion of mine. Since losing weight, I couldn't imagine a life without it. Over the past year, a lot of things happened which lead to me deciding to make my passion a career.

I started my Personal Training course with The Training Room on the 3rd of November 2014. I am on the fast track 6 week course, which I can tell you is no joke! It is super intense! Luckily, I had already acquired my Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification through my A-Levels so I'm a little bit ahead of the game.

The first week was really fun, though it's a real struggle to get myself awake before 7am, I look forward to each and everyday. The first week was filled with fun activities to help us learn, revise and get to know each other. 



The people on my course are truly inspiring, there are natural body builders, Olympic level competitors and not to mention a TV presenter aka AJ! I was over the moon to find out AJ was on the course with me, we'd been stalking each other on social media for quite some time, so it was absolute fate that we were doing the course at the same time.

Though The Training Room has many venues across the UK, unfortunately they didn't have any near West Sussex (South East England) which is the area I live in. SO, it meant for the next 6 weeks, I decided to move up to London instead of the 3 hour commute which would have been impossible.
