Powder Supplements


I started taking supplements this year and have found them to be SO useful. Prior to this year, the only supplements I would take were my Omega 3 capsules which was mostly encouraged by my mum as she wanted me to get the best grades possible! 

Now though, I take a couple more supplements and the most recent have been some powders I discovered on the MyVitamins website and the MyProtein website. 


The Nutrigreens powder according to the website, is convenient and effective way to increase your fruit and vegetable intake as well as improving your overall health and well being. I knew I wanted to try this straight away because I'm guilty of not getting in enough vegetables and fruit during the day. Some days we have a plentiful amount of fruit and veg in our home but other days our stock depletes and there's that awkward time before we next go stock up. 


I've been loving the Nutrigreens powder! You can take it in a number of ways but I prefer to add it to a mug of hot water, it's just like a cup of herbal tea! With 22 superfoods (including Wheatgrass) you can't go wrong with this! 



Wheatgrass has recently become hugely popular in the health world! and rightly so! this is due to its high levels of vitamins, minerals and enzymes which are associated with a number of health benefits. 


It's said to improve your energy and brain function. Since adding it to some of my smoothies and even my porridge, I can tell the difference and I'm not so reliant on my cup of coffee first thing in the morning. 


I left my favourite until last- Green Tea Extract Powder. Now we've all heard the wonders of Green Tea! Now imagine having a concentrated version of the stuff and you're sure to get the most out of this wonder leaf. 

After sipping on green tea for a few years I came across the green tea extract capsules, I was a bit apprehensive as they were advertised as quick fix weight loss pills, which I in no way condone BUT this is one of the most effective supplements I have every come across! Of course you're not going to lose 10lbs by popping a green tea pill but you certainly will see the difference paired with a healthy lifestyle. 



This comes in both capsule form and also powder, I chose powder because it meant I could just pop it into a mug of hot water and sip it like regular green tea (you know how much I love tea!) Overall, it keeps me alert and feeling alive!
