Organisation & Schedule Tips

It is so important to be organised and have a good schedule in place if you want to lead a healthy lifestyle. Well at least when you're starting out, after a while everything will become second nature to you and it wont feel so strict. 

So here are some extra tips to keep you organised and on schedule!

1. Wake up earlier so you have time to make breakfast or workout. Never skip breakfast! and if you think you wont have time to workout later in the day, then set that alarm earlier!

2. Make your lunch the night before because you don't want to be tempted to buy something naughty when the hunger strikes! Just fix up your lunch before you go to bed and pop it in the fridge to keep it fresh. 

3. Keep your room clean! I tend to do most of my work in my room, so it HAS to be clean. Messy room = Messy mind. I just feel more relaxed and motivated when my room is organised. 

4. Avoid doing work on your bed. It might be the most comfortable place to get things done but it can actually affect both your work and sleep. 

If you try to do work whilst sitting on your bed, you may find it harder to concentrate as usually you associate your bed with rest. Same with your sleep! You might find yourself having trouble switching your mind off at night because you're so used to being stressed/thinking/learning on your bed. 

5. Do your homework/work/coursework...(anything that could cause you stress) straight away! You've probably heard this advice a thousand times but it really does make a difference if you do your work as soon as possible!
