Healthy Grocery Haul on a Budget

Eating healthy can be pretty expensive but over the years I've managed to find some cheaper alternatives that are much better if you're on a low budget.

This past weekend I went grocery shopping with my mum and picked out a couple of things I'd need for the next few weeks so I thought I'd show you what I picked up.

I shop at Tesco's because it's closest to where I live and we've been shopping there for years! But hopefully you'll find similar prices where ever you shop.

Lemons 76p

Banana's £1

Loose Banana's 76p

Loose Oranges 30p x2

Fun sized Apples £1.35

Skimmed Milk £1.39

Low Fat Natural Yogurt 45p

Almond Milk £1.49

Oats £1.75 (was £2.19)

Sweetened Soya Milk 59p

Lightly Salted Rice Cakes 69p

Stevia Sweetener £1.89

Seeded Tortilla Wraps £1

Total= £12.76

The total isn't too bad and a tip for anyone living with their family who aren't willing to purchase healthy foods, you could totally use your pocket money or your own money to go out and buy these few bits to kick start your healthy lifestyle.

Comment below telling me your average weekly budget for your groceries and I'll do a video on the best healthy foods within that budget!

Stay healthy
